Miss Pepper
Update for those of you who had not heard
we had to take our kitty Pepper to the pound last week,
she had a UTI and i didnt have the funds to take her to the Vet.
The People down at the pound were really nice and they are getting her
taken care of and spayed. This makes me so happy, she really is a sweey Kitty and she
will make a family a great addition to their family.
We love you Pepper and will miss you.
Yellow
Yellow,
Have i ever told you that i love the colour yellow?
I do, it’s bright, cheery, uplifting.
I want things around me that brighten my day, and it that means painting
everything around me yellow, i gosh darn will.
This cupboard my Brother and wood working teacher made me for my Birthday.
I came up with the design, and made the measurments, although when it got to my house
we discovered it was a full 2 inches taller than my kitchen ceiling.
Not pointing fingers, but i dont think it was ‘I’ that made the mistake.
I love it….i no longer have to look at a smelly trash can…and i also have
a place to put my growing collections of coffee mugs.
Thank you Jabin, Mr Fred and my Mommy. I Love you so much.
Can it really have been SIX years since this sweet child came into my life? Those years have flown by, each day filled with the joy that he brings me. He has been easy since birth, pushed him out and thought wow i could do that again, he hardly cried, loved to lay in his bed, swing in his swing, and just take in life. He is such a unique child, not moved by what others think about him, he is who he is.
I look forward to watching him grow into the man of God i know he is…learning to love God with every fiber of his being. I see him preaching when he is older, his quiet confidence will win many to the Lord.
Everyday i am amazed by him, the things he sayes, how well he is doing at school, how incredible good he is at math, which he does not get from me (so ya know)
I love being a Mother to Boys, The make me laugh, and feel loved in ways that are hard to describe, unlike most Mothers, I look forward to my son being a teenager, i picture him and Ian always trying to make ‘Mom’ laugh and doing things because it will make me happy.
He is Quiet, Mysterious, Loving, Compassionate & Strong

Change
The Change in the weather came upon me so
suddenly,
with it, a busy month ahead.
can it already be 4 weeks away till ‘Teen Break’?
a very busy week in the Korv household, thank goodness,
this year i was able to swap some babysitting with my mom.
She is going to watch my 3 for a week,
then the next week while her and 2 of my sisters
are gallivanting around France i will have sweet Addy with me.
This will make things so much easier in us.
To be out in the sun all day then to come home
to the kids trying to tell us all about their adventures, its
a bit much to take in. So i thank you my dear Mother.
Your a life saver.
I tackled the kids room today, sifted through toys,
put hotwheels back in there homes, how they fly
over to the big toy box i’ll never know
i also took up the carpet in the closet, its the last
of the last, of the original carpet from when we moved in.
soaked in cat pee, now i can open the closet door
without wanting to throw up.
I am in the market for a twin frame, even if its just a metal frame. Adia
broke her bed jumping on it, and i believe it is beyond repair.
For now a mattress on the floor suits her JUST fine.
I called my bud Chuck today and requested the use of his
trailer, i am in the mood to cart off junk in my backyard,
will it ever be done? I think so…not much more left, soon
i will have a yard i will like to look at while
i sit on my porch swing and sip iced tea in the afternoons.
I want to get it out of the way before it hits the triple digits that
i love so well.
Yes i am rambling, felt i needed to do that today,
no photos to post.
Soon though,
Lovely Lennon’s 6th birthday is in NINE short days
WOW…..6 years old
Pre-Valentines outing
We wanted to spend the day as a family,
lately we have been so busy, running around like
a chicken with his head cut off, hehe
We started by picking lennon up from
a sleep over, then went to Mickey D’s for breakfast,
not my choice, but the kids enjoy it.
after that we decided a little time at the park would be nice,
while the kids played rudy annoyed me.
This was a day of, “lets pick on Jacci, cause it makes me laugh day”!
When the kids started to invade our blanket, we decided a
walk was in order.
The park was packed, all kinds of people out walking, jogging,
people in the lake kayaking, and this other thing where you stand on
a huge board and paddle standing up…pretty cool looking.
When we got down to the bridge, rudy got prices for the paddle boats…
we have never done this as a family, i did when i was about 11…quite the memories
there..(huh Jess?)
Being the mother, i was terrified that Lennon was going to fall out, there
are no seat belts on the darn thing, Ian sat in the front in between us.
so i had my arm around the back grabbing lennons coat,
which he kept yelling at me to let go…i dont
know why i am so protective of him.
Half an hour in one of those is plenty of time…good work out.
The walk home was filled with crying kids, saying their legs hurt.
huh! i think we were the ones peddling the boat.
Home, lunch, naptime….lovely day out.
:)
I have so many people in agreement with
me that this is going to be my year to get my bug.
I have such amazing friends!
I am in LOVE with a BUG
Up the road from my house, at a used car lot has been this bug,
that i need, i want, i love
So i decided that i just need to call those
things that are not, as though they ARE!
and go test drive it.
I have never drove a VW bug, rudy i think was
hoping i didnt like it, but oh no
quite on the contrary, i fell
deeper in love, being surrounded by
that sweet vw smell.
My heart skipped a beat, for sure.
My favorite Brit and i went out and about…my swooning, her laughing
The one thing i hate about the car is these horrible ugly hubcaps,
while driving we hit a patch of dirt, where the road is being worked on,
I heard a noise, looked back and there is that ugly thing rolling off down
the road, nearly hitting a pedestrian on a bicycle…whoops
Only would that have happen with Michell and I.
Here’s my prayer…
Dear Lord, you said to ask and we will receive, the desires
of our hearts, I desire to own a VW…so in Jesus name,
i call forth that i have the money to pay cash for this or any
VW that is the one for me.
In Jesus Name Amen!
