Cousins

We had such a wonderful night last Tuesday….Rudy’s brother and his family came for a visit

from Kansas..

Its been 3 years since we saw them last.

Its such an interesting thing to hang out with family that is not from my side…

to have cousins and a sister in law…it’s really a fun thing to experience

The cousins had a blast together…Anna who is 4, we have met once and Joel 2 1/2 we have never met

Such sweet lovely children to.

I love this one

I love this one

Two peas in a pod

Two peas in a pod

Whats funny about this, is, Anna and Ian are a year apart…she’s 4 and he’s 3…notice how tall he is compared to her,

He’s tall for his age and she is short

They were quite the team let me tell ya….

I so wish they lived closer…Lisa and i get along so well.

We for sure are going to plan a trip to visit them sometime soon.

We were so happy to see them.

Still Alive

It feels like an eternity since i last posted a blog,

In fact i believe it has been.

I find myself So completly overwelmed with everything i need to get

done, that i barely accomplish the basic needs of my home.

School being out has been interesting, trying to keep all the kids entertained

having a pool has really helped in this area.

Today we went with some friends to the kids movie showing at the new Theater,

(note to self, show up early) It was fun and i think the kids enjoyed themselves.

I also have been going to the church during Rudy’s work hours alot the past few weeks,

helping him out with things and coming up with my own work i need to

get done. We have also been working on songs…He’s been pushing me to do better,

just having him show me that he has confidance in me and my potential, makes me try harder

and do better. I love that man so much….

I finally bought the broken part to my good washer, so tomorrow that will get hooked back up

so my friend Michell can have the other one. that alone will make my day be a fabulous one.

Yesterday i started off having a great day, but a turn in events made it go down hill

at a very rapid pace…i had felt so confident earlier in the day that things were going

to turn around and things were going to change.

How easly Satan sneaks in speaks evil into our ears which cause us to have thoughts agaisnt

what we are believing for, then those thoughts turn into words, then we have to all together stop

and turn around and get back on tract.

In the midst of my melt down, i get a text…one word….’Coffee’?

my sweet Michell, how did you know? A hug, a sit down, with some coffee and

words of encouragment and i feel million times better…a complete change in my attitude.

So thank you dear, you may not have thought you did much, but oh, you will never

know how much you help me. I love you!

Today, when my alarm went off at 6:00am i did NOT ignore it, i jumped up and

started my day, the RIGHT way…i prayed while i washed dishes, i pray sang His praises

in the shower…i gave thanks while bringing in laundry…then read His word….THIS day

was minus lots of things….no melt downs…half the amounts of yelling, and anger.

Was full of love, joy and happiness.

Thank you Jesus, I love you

Hanging out on Mom’s Bed

Laying on Mom’s bed is probably the best place ever….

Didn’t you think that when you were a kid? Mom’s bed is always softer, comfy and all around better than your own.

may2009-017I think Lennon needs to get his bluff in early with Ian, he will most likely be bigger than him when they grow up

may2009-020may2009-021may2009-023may2009-022This child cracks me up. We are going to have so much fun when Adia and Lennon are in school…

He’s my little kissy monkey, i tell him he kisses me more than Daddy does, (which is so not true)

but he is in a close second.

The arrival

My heart was pounding, as i ran helter skelter down the drive way!!!!

could THIS be the DAY?

IT WAS!!!!

dsc_0193

dsc_0192Oh dear sweet noisy plume…how i have long to have one of your sweet little boxes arrive as MY doorstep!

dsc_0194the time and detail…i am so honored…See the little feather tucks ever so delicately in the string?

dsc_0195It took ALL my strength not to tear into this little box, i wanted to savor every moment…

dsc_0201It was Worth the wait

dsc_0199I was hoping for it to fit on my pointer finger, but oh dear my fingers are fatter than i thought, it does however fit very nicely on my ring finger.

dsc_0196I don’t want to take it off….

I believe i will wear it forever, or until i buy another and then i will be forced to rotate them.

Thank you dear Plume, you made my Mother’s day simply divine!

My Cup Runeth Over

How manifold are your works oh Lord.

His Blessing are pouring down on us!!!!

I read in one of my journals the other day on March 30th i wrote a prayer down that our odd jobs that needed to get done in our house would start to progress, cause i wanted my ‘house’ to feel like a ‘Home’…

So that was the end of March and here we are the beginning of May, let me make a list for you, spell it out how good MY God is, how he gives us the desires of our hearts.

1. given carpet, friend put it in for FREE

2. Friend gave us a 20 foot by 4 foot pool!

3. Added a new puppy to our family

4. Someone GAVE us top of the line wood flooring, enough for kitchen and dining room…nearly all put in

5. Bought an HD big screen t.v at a extremely LOW price

6. God gave me an idea of how to fix the hole in my couch without having to pay $75

7. My front and back yard are coming along nicely.

My table actually goes in the kitchen area, but we are not done with the flooring in there

im still in process of haging art and making curtains, & yes Lennon is sleeping on the couch

These are just the ‘things’ God has been blessing us with, higher up on that list is the

1.Kingdom marriage i am blessed with,

2.the grace and wisdom God gives me for raising my children,

3.A Happy home,

4.My bills being met,

5.Joy in my heart

6. passion to see souls saved

7. the best friends a gal could ever have….(Michell & Christina) i love you!

Thank you Jesus for forever blessing me over and beyond what i ask…no matter what I will Love you and seek you

Choices

How sad life would it be to go through your whole life, with that kind of secret on your shoulders, i kept thinking if only he would just tell his wife they could move on and get there lives back together.

One stupid choice ruined all of their lives, changed the coarse of their lives forever never to recover.
