A New Korv
I love when out of the blue something unexpected happens, well i suppose the happy unexpected preferably. Yesterday we had the opportunity to welcome another doggie into the korv brood….Penny a three year old basset hound!

Sweet Penny and Lenny

Puppy Love
I know i am so going to enjoy photographing this sweet gal….

They all fight for rudy's attention

She's fitting right in
Its been quite the ruckus around my house, when ever they hear a door slam or a knock on the door it sounds like a kennel…they all three start barking and howling, Penny has the loudest bark/howl i have ever heard from a smallish dog.

Dinner Time

Ian loves the doggies

Im in love
In the future you can expect alot more photos of this lovely little girl…..
You all can make fun of me, but i love my doggies…i am definitely a animal person….i would have my home filled to the brim if i could….a bunny could be in our near future, and Lord willing someday i pray to own a Horse, goats, chickens, ducks and maybe goose who knows what God’s plans are for my life, i do know HE knows the desires of my heart!
A fist full
There is just no other way to do this, but post a massive amount
of photos at once…hope you don’t mind….

I told the kids that if they fell in the fish would eat them, it
still didn’t stop Ian from trying to crawl under the chains.

My tree children

Oh the things i do to torture my children…they look all happy
but what you can’t hear is me telling them to smile
and look like they are having fun. hehe

The love’s of my life, they have made me into who I am today

Laughing at Amber….

Ian takes the BEST photos…i just want to kiss that face

I can’t take any credit for this amazing photo, Amber took it with my camera….along with the one below

They loved listening to this man, he was playing ‘over the rainbow’

Adia teaching Amber all her crazy hand games she knows,
it was quite entertaining to say the least

I win, you loose, now you get a big fat bruise

Even though living in Arizona is not my choice place to reside, it is beautiful

Man, we really do look good together

I love this one of daddy and the kids….so darling

playing in the fountain….grand fun, every child should do this at least once in their life

Ian hardly knew what to do with himself

Our day out was thoroughly enjoyable….later on we went and got dairy Queen then took the dogs to the dog park….i love days out spent with my Family…nothing makes me happier…I love my Family so much, they bring me such joy!
Smells
So yes, i really should be in bed drifted to sleep right now, but i felt the urge to blog, i had a thought today that i almost twittered, but in mid text i thought better of it and decided to wait till i could go into detail..... PETUNIA'S....have you ever smelled a petunia? Not just the walk by them and catch a whiff, but got down on your hands and knees, stuck your little nose right into one of the blossoms and inhaled all the sweet sent you could handle? If this is something you have not yet done in your life, you have NOT lived life to the fullest. Let me describe to you, what thoughts float through my head when i do this....A long driveway, gray colored gravel... lined with these sweet smelling flowers....green grass... swaying trees...Grandma's House! Every time i smell a Petunia this is what it brings to my mind.. every single time...i can hear the squeak of the screen door that went from the garage into the house, the stairs leading down to the basement, the musty smell of books, cool damp air, Grandma's kitchen, the smell of marshmallows in her snack cupboard. Sitting in the living room, hearing a goose honk next door at 'MaryAnns' the chimes of the bells at the church down the road. Walking down the brick path that led to the barn, dunking into the barn, the soft squishiness of the years worth of hay on the floor, the smell of molasses and oats, creed pushing his soft nose in my face, pressing mine up against his mane, smelling as hard as i could, soaking in all in, sitting, hidden in between the bales of hay praying God would let me live there forever, never to go home, praying over and over. All of this stems from one little flower...thousands of memories, over only a hand full of summers, never enough time, never satisfied, always wanting more...never the choice. Although i never got the full enjoyment i desired to experience at my Grandma's house, God in His all knowing, loving kindness, gave us the ability to have memories triggered by smells... memories that pop into our heads with one little whiff. Some memories we could have forgotten for years, and then out of the blue, we could walk into a store we have never been to and feel a sense of 'being' there before or a connection to that smell. God is so good, that i may never see my Grandma's house again, certainly not in the same way when i was 11, but just by planting beautiful flowers in my yard, i can remember and feel like i was standing on her front porch.
A sign of Spring
Yes i know i am late, that we are nearing the dreaded Arizona summer, but i started a greenhouse of tomato plants …and they started budding…ever so cute…

I can almost taste my Yummy tomatoes….sliced tillamook cheese and home grown tomatoes, i just might be in heaven

The Korv's
My dear sweet children, taken Palm Sunday 4-6-09 Looking their very best, they sang in the children's program during church.I don't think i EVER get a photo where at least one of them is not making a silly face of some sort
Just you wait Mom.... Yes is was a glorious day at the Korv household, we have a blessed day at church worshiping our Lord.... Satan tried really hard to get me worked up and discouraged today, not only were my babies in the program but i also was doing a song with some other people and had a verse me and Greg sang together, plus i sang P&W during the 10:30 service and played bass at the end of service...I'm a jack of all trades you might say...har har The Service was Anointed, Pastor Dan was on fire and excited, People got saved, and were blessed. quite a few things came up during the course of the day, i did OK handling it, i could have done better and now that i know my children are being attacked i will be on guard, Satan has no say in my family...my children are mighty men and woman of God. The rest of my week is going to be good and blessed.... Please disregard my nasty rippled thumb nail....i even went to the doctors and they don't even know why they grow like that...eeww
We are turning into the animal family…….this is our newest
addition to the family…Lennon has named him/her
‘ Puddles’ he comes up with quite the names huh?
Last night when i let the dogs out to go potty, they started chasing something around the patio, and caught it, i saw something furry in Rustys mouth and started freaking out, i don’t do well with dead things, or near dead things, I yelled for Rudy, and he took care of it for me….apparently i think the dogs just wanted to play with it, cause the poor little guys scared as he was is UN harmed….I researched what to feed it, and we picked up some milk that you give kittens, and was able to get it to eat a few drops….tomorrow i am calling the humane society, i am not even sure if it is legal to keep a wild animal as a pet or if it will survive in captivity. She’s a sweet thing though and i think she loves me.
don’t you just want to brush your face up to this sweet like face?
darn baby animals, why do they have to be so cute….i have a feeling as my kids grow up and are able to help take care of animals we are going to have hoards of them….i might need to live on a farm, i am not allowed to keep ducks and chickens in the city limits….how very rude is that…doesn’t everyone enjoy the sounds of ducks quacking to wake them up in the morning?
Now that i have a whole folder of re-sized photos waiting to be posted i might get to them quicker, but it is now 12:46am and i am sleepy….ta ta my chickadees
I don't think i EVER get a photo where at least one of them is
not making a silly face of some sort
Just you wait Mom....
