The House Rules
I was chatting with my dear Sister Jessica the other day we are forever discussing and compairing our differant ways of training up our sweet lovely children. She was telling me about her new house rules that she found from a lady who has 19 children….Yes folks 19 children that she GAVE BIRTH to. This woman must be a saint. Anything that works for her, i have got to give a try.
So today i posted our ‘House Rules’ in plain sight to everyone who comes in…it applys to ALL!
So far so good

Rules to Follow

My Odd Son
I have a son, well i actually have 2 sons, the one i am referring to now is the elder of the 2.
Lennon James is his name, thought up by his Grandma Crawford, (lennon) James is his Great Grandpas middle name…Its his cousins middle name as well (Korban James)
He is a odd fellow that Lennon, Always doing things that surprise me and make me stop and ponder.
He has always been a very well behaved boy, never had to give his a butt spanking till he was well over a year old. (His lovely sister on the other hand was 3 months old when she received her first paddling.)
Lennon is a mystery to me, always keeps me guessing, with his sly smile and cute as a button dimples, that leave my heart aching for one more glimpse.
He’s a creature of habit, like an old man really, set in his ways.
Every Morning he wakes up, he comes into the living room for a quick hug and a ‘goodmorning love’ from me, then goes potty and brushes his teeth…he’s very paranoid that he will get food in his teeth. ( which is good cause he has never had a cavity in his short little life)
When he was just walking, every morning he would toddle out to the kitchen while daddy was getting ready for work, pet the dog (tucker) and sit on daddys lap for a few mintues then ask for cereral, ALWAYS ‘Life’ I think till he was 3 he ate ‘Life’ cereal every morning.
This is his NEW favorite breakfast of choice.

;)
Yes you guessed it, that is Captain Crunch and Fruit Loops

A girl cannot have a good collection of books without a large volume of classic poems.

My review
rating: 3 of 5 stars
I started to read this book a few months ago, but got distracted with bigger and better books to read….I finally picked it up again and was not disapointed. There is alot of History between the pages of this fine read. At one point it nearly had me crying, just trying to wrap my head around the crulity to Negros during and after the civil war….How our world has changed, and in some ways has not changed.
I wouldnt mind finding the other book this woman wrote as well.
How important it is for us to pass traditions and beliefs on down through the Generations, How easily it can pass away.
Oh So true
Laugh and the world laughs with you;
Weep and you weep alone,
For the sad old earth must borrow its mirth,
But has troubles enough of its own;
Sing, and the hills will answer,
The echoes bound to a joyful sound,
But shrink from voicing care.
Rejoice and men will seek you,
Grieve, and they turn and go,
They want full measure of all your pleasure,
But they do not need your woe;
Be glad and your friends are many,
Be sad, and you loose them all;
There are none to decline your nectar’d wine
But YOU must drinks life’s gall.
Feast, and your halls are crowded,
Fast, and the world goes by,
Succeed and give, and it helps you live,
But no man can help you die!
There is no room in the halls of pleasure,
For a large and lordly train,
But only one by one we must all file on,
Through the narrow isles of pain.
