What You’ve All been waiting for

Ok, its finally here…it was the longest i ever had to wait for something…but as my Dad and probably ever other parent in America and the world would say ‘It builds Character’    On Our Anniversary we decided to go to the dealership and see if we could trade in our town and country limited van. It was almost at 100,000 miles, we had replace the brakes 3 times this past year and other things were starting to go wrong, and our warranty was up.

We went to the Nissan dealership first but they wouldn’t give us what we wanted for the van, so off to the Chrysler dealership we went.

That was where we bought our van anyways, They were very helpful and got us what we needed, and what was funny the car they brought for us to look at was one we had talked about getting, we had it as a rental car awhile back and loved it.

They brought it in from Phoenix so we picked it up last night….and its so much better than i dreamed.

It’s a 2008 Chrysler Sea-bring…..

I love it, I adore it…My husband is the best-est ever!

So much to be Thankful for!

God has been so good to us this year….So many people have been

going through hard times, and my family i feel has been in a sorta bubble…Yes we have tight

months, but overall things have been good.

I have never felt as close to God this year….My husband and I are closer and more in love.

I appreciate the gift of my children, and how really blessed i am to have given birth

to three amazing, full of life children. They are my own, they are healthy and whole!

My Thanksgiving morning started off a bit earlier than i had hoped.

Ian fell asleep last night around 5:30pm and slept all night but woke me up at 4:00AM

He layed in bed with us for an hour, but after him calling my Father at 5AM i figured

I should probably get up and keep an eye on him.

I look at the brightside, i wanted to make cinnomon rolls for breakfast and now

i wont be rushed, AND i can sit and read God’s word after i blog.

Start my day off with His word, Today is going to be a stress free, happy Day~

I might write a little later on….

Here’s some amazing photos to make you drool….be still my beating heart!

Ramblings in the night

So i have been a mother for nearly 6 years now,
i have gone through many stages with each one of them,
by far i think this year has been my hardest by far
I do so well with the babies wanting to nurse through the night,
babies throwing up i just might be the queen of that one.
All the little baby stages, even toddler stages i do so well at.
But darn it if this 5 year old stage is whooping my butt.
But by God's grace i will survive and get out on the
other side with all my sanity.
I just know that i am going to need Lots and Lots of
strength to raise my sweet little girl.
God will not give me more than i am able to handle.

So Very Proud

My Dearest sweet only daughter received Student of the week today…..She was so full of joy as she ran out of her classroom. I know this is one of those events that every child will receive and not even that big of a deal to an adult, but to my five year old it meant the world.

november2008-007Here is the star (we) colored and cut our together, with her name on it, that will be hung on the board in the front office for ALL the world to see.

november2008-002This is the poster that we filled out and colored that she will take to school tomorrow and Miss Rollins will read to the class.

november2008-005Here’s an up close of the photos we chose to put on it, A very silly face and one from her Ballet recital that Amber took.

Sorry for the un ruly color, it was at night and my flash batteries were dead.

I look forward to many more student of the week from this bright little girl…even though she is quite the child to raise, she truly brings my heart happiness.

Needing to view the past

The other day i was bored and feeling in a nostalgic mood and decided to

scan through photos over the years…i really wish i had all of them in albums, but in reality printing out the 7000 or more photos i have on my computer would be rather silly, dont you think? I do have about 4 albums…around the time Lennon was 2 was when i got my nikon s so thats where they stop.

Poor adia i have no digital of her so but i do have some great film of her….Ian on the  other hand has more than he will ever know what to do with. and Lennon in the fashion of being a classic middle child has hardly any baby photos….you would have thought since i my self am a middle child of sorts, would have known better and prevented that from happening.

I am sure he will forgive me in time, after years of therapy. haha

so here it is…a little love from the past.

No words

I have a list of blogs that i read daily, and i get so irate if those people dont update regularly,

But then i stop and think…did i update mine?

haha

I really have nothing new to say…..

I did go to the Parker Library book sale this Saturday and got 3 boxes of books…

now all i need are some beautiful bookcases built in my living room , so i can take

them out of the boxes sitting in my living room.

my home is in different stages of disarray…

one thing gets put together, and then 10 others things get out of place.

Soon oh soon, my home will be right.

On a good note i was able to sell my diner booth…which took away alot of the clutter in the back room…

its all a process.

Did My Vote Count?

I am so not a political person, Most of the time i have no idea

what’s really going on.

I know its very sad, someday i hope to change that, and start to pay attention.

Not saying i don’t know who to Vote for, but just not down in the dirt of it all.

This Election i was VERY disappointed who was elected.

I will stand behind the President and Pray for him, Cause he’s going to need it.

I took these Photos when i went to Vote…. the one may be a tad illegal, but i thought it was a cool thing to have to show my Grandchildren someday.

My Joy Is Complete

I am the happiest Woman alive…..Let me tell you a little story to explain my joy.

Thursday i was driving and saw that the Lutheran Church was having their Rummage sale…

now if any of you have ever been to a Lutheran Rummage sale you will know why i am so happy, they seem to have the best i have ever been to…where they get so many amazing items i will never know, but i do know they ROCK!

So i stop by this said sale, it was not yet open, i saw a kitchen table that was beautiful beyond words…that spoke to me that it wanted me to buy it.

the price tag read $75…i not having any money, decided if God wanted me to have this Table he would provide….Saturday arrives and i decide to head down there again, i had heard that everything was now half off….so in my mind i thought, if this was suppose to be mine it WILL be there…but in the back of my mind thinking, surely it wont, it was SO amazing.

I drive around the corner almost holding my breath, and what do my eyes clasp onto….

MY TABLE…calling out to me from a distance.

A long story short, i talked them down to $30 from $37.50….hehe

cause i would have to sand a part of it cause it doesn’t close all the way when the leaf is not in place….plus the leaf is a darker shade,

(a side note) Why do people re-finish a table and never do the leaf with it????

I have it all set up and it is Divine!

When i came home from running errands and i walked in the house R. asked me if my heart skipped a beat when i saw it sitting so prettily in my dining room…It DID!

It came with 4 chairs...i also have an old one i all ready had

Oh so lovely, Oh so MINE

Ok Yes i know the floors do kinda make it look not as pretty as it is, But soon, very soon i will have tile…Lord Willy
