Still in process of cutting out 4inch squares for a quilt.

I also pieced together 2 twin sized comforters, made out of Polyester.

Before you say anything about polyester let me tell you why i did such

a crazy thing as that.

My Great-Grandma Hazel Berry made THE most amazing Quilts from all kinds

of polyester.

One Year for Christmas when i was about 9-10 years old she sent a giant box

filled with a quilt for each of us…I LOVED mine.

Unfortunately i have no idea where this quilt ended up at. Probably somewhere

at my moms I’m sure.

Ok so now do you understand the reason behind my madness?

They are finished except for the batting. When i complete them

i will take photos and show them off.

NOW on to what i made tonight.

I got this crazy idea to make bags out of capri sun pouches, yes

i know people have been doing this for decades im sure, im a late bloomer.

We had gone to a birthday party sunday where at least 3 boxes of capri suns

were inhaled in a matter of minutes.

SO like any craft crazed mother, i dug in all the trash bins and collected them.

As well as drank 2 of them tonight, just so i could finish THESE two projects.

So if anyone wants to save their Capri Sun Pouches that would make me the happiest person EVER!!!

Sorry if my 9 years of marriage, raising 3 children mean nothing

to you.

Today for instance while driving home from picking up Adia and Lennon. 

Lennon: mom how can you tell a dog is a boy or a girl?
Me: there is a way, its like how you know Your a boy
and Adia is a girl.
Adia: you know, cause you have short hair and I have long hair

End of conversation!

Man those kids crack me up...i love that they are still so very innocent

Lunch in the Haulapia's... After church we rushed home, changed, loaded up Penny, & headed out. We decided Penny should join us on her first out of town family trip the first of many more to come. She is excellent in the car. just the right size, maybe not for Really long trips, but not to bad. I could take photos of Penny all day long... That sweet little whiskers mouth This one was on the way home, she was so worn out and sleepy

no i didnt post the 2nd one, i love the pattern, I actually copied

it from a skirt i already own, but the material i used, was what

i had on hand, and i do not like the way it turned out.

So on to number THREE…

this one only took a couple hours.

i really like the way this one turned out, i love, love, love the

length, and the color, also the way it fits.

Please pay no mind to that messy kitchen behind me.

I know she looks like she stepped out of

a little house on the prairie book.

But i was using up what material i already had.

My sweet Neighbor gave me 7 bags of fabric the other day, including

another sewing machine.

My very first zipper, for never before putting one in

it looks pretty good. it as least zips….

i really wanted her to wear a plain while shirt, but

the only white ones we had were to frilly.

The kids woke up at 6:30am all on their own..

Lunches are packed, hair is combed, Teeth are brushed

Adia Rose is starting 2nd grade, knows everything, doesn’t need her mom to walk her to class, and is a little to big fer her britches.

Lennon James is starting 1st grade, nervous about homework, extremely particular about his shoes, and a sweet soul.

Ian Matthews is being home schooled this year…he’s only 41/2 but so ready to start. loves to help people, has the most luscious locks I’ve ever seen, and acts so much like me.

When we got to the school, our bestest friends were just getting there as well. What a great start to a great day

Now off to steam clean my living room and hallway…
