How sad life would it be to go through your whole life, with that kind of secret on your shoulders, i kept thinking if only he would just tell his wife they could move on and get there lives back together.
One stupid choice ruined all of their lives, changed the coarse of their lives forever never to recover.

I found this book on a shelf in my living room, i have no idea where it came from….I started it about 5:30pm last night, and finished it at 4:00pm today. It was really good, a bit of a mystery and suspense.
I enjoyed it.
Daughter Of Fortune
Daughter of Fortune: A Novel by Isabel Allende
My review
rating: 4 of 5 stars
This is an Oprah book club book, most of the time she has pretty good books, this is one of them, this was a 447 page book that i devoured in less than a week….The story of a girl brought up one way thinking she knew what she wanted, and when she left her old life to search for her love, her life changed in so many ways, and she found a new way of life. And i would think her life was better for it…
Defiantly one that i didnt want it to end where it did.

A girl cannot have a good collection of books without a large volume of classic poems.
Red River

I started to read this book a few months ago, but got distracted with bigger and better books to read….I finally picked it up again and was not disapointed. There is alot of History between the pages of this fine read. At one point it nearly had me crying, just trying to wrap my head around the crulity to Negros during and after the civil war….How our world has changed, and in some ways has not changed.
I wouldnt mind finding the other book this woman wrote as well.
How important it is for us to pass traditions and beliefs on down through the Generations, How easily it can pass away.
